$1000 gift from GIVE Fitness

We our very thankful and honored to have been chosen as a partner in the Give Fitness Health Club Charities Challenge. On Saturday night, GIVE Fitness donated $1,000 to ECHO. The GIVE Fitness vision is to become involved in the community and give back 50% of their profits to programs that strengthen personal character, create value in people and provide opportunities for personal growth. Pictured is Matt Holguin, Working to Give; Josh Donovan, GIVE Fitness; behind that beautiful check is Charlotte Byrne, Terri Sherwin, Mike Byrne, and Kathy Asdel, ECHO board members; and Tiffany Donovan, GIVE Fitness. Another nine charities also received $1000 checks! Thank you GIVE Fitness!

Recently the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce presented ECHO with their 2016 Organization of the Year award. We thank the Atascadero Chamber for recognizing ECHO and our work helping the homeless in North County. Most of all, we thank YOU, the ECHO volunteers, donors, supporters and staff who enable ECHO to make a difference in our community everyday. We would not have ECHO without you!

ECHO Volunteer Opportunities

We have an informational packet highlighting all the events we are managing in 2017 and how you can help! About 73% of ECHO’s operating budget comes from donations and fundraising. Not only does this fundraising support North County’s homeless shelter, it’s fun and we have a really wonderful group of volunteers for you to join!

We need help with ECHO’s Empty Bowls, 15-Year Celebration, Long Walk Home and our participation in Atascadero’s Dancing With Our Stars. There is a volunteer event activity to match anyone’s skills and availability!

Just fill out this contact form and it will be sent to you!
