Knitters and Quilters Wanted!

Knitters and Quilters – We need you for 2018!

People love the wonderful handcrafted items at Empty Bowls. For every five+ handmade items, you will receive a free ticket and a chance to win one of four $100 gift certificates to local fabric and knitting stores. Please just one free ticket per person!

For 2018, we have a few changes. We are asking our knitters and quilters to not make scarves and hats. (We have plenty left over for next year and they are really adorable!) Please create items that are not wearables. So, we are focusing on soup bowl cozies, pot holders, trivets, mug rugs, coffee cup cozies,  eyeglass holders, etc. Some items need to be in sets. Napkins, placemats and coasters need to be in sets. For example, if you make quilted coasters, they need to be in a set of four and that counts as one item. Napkins and placemats need to be in sets of four and a set counts as one item.

Also, to have a chance to win one of the $100 gift certificates you MUST register below and your items need to be bagged with your name. It really helps us to keep track!

Your items must be handmade. Please do not purchase pot holders, etc. from stores. We are celebrating the skill and art of local women who quilt, knit, and crochet! They can all be the same or different. Here are some ideas: pot holder, trivet, soup bowl cozy, mug rug, protective pot liners,  microwave potato bag – you get the picture! Knitted coasters, table center pieces, wash cloths, and coffee cup sweaters are great, too!

In exchange for five+ knitted or quilted items, you will receive a:

Complimentary lunch ticket worth $25 and chances to win 1 of 4 $100 gift certificates!
